Neues Museum – Exhibition „Cinderella, Sinbad & Sinuhe“
The exhibition „Cinderella, Sinbad & Sinuhe: Arabic-German Narrative Traditions“ focuses on the perception of clear, and hidden, overlaps within the Arabic and Germanic narrative culture. The exhibition shows, in a playful way, how closely humanity is interconnected through its fairytales and storytelling. The highlight of the exhibition is a brightly coloured tent in the Greek courtyard of the museum in which visitors are invited to listen to a variety of fairytales. The second area within the exhibition shows a number of exhibits and examples of the written word.
