kubix were commissioned to provide the detailed design and construction services for Artek’s collaboration with the artist Daniel Rybakken. Required standards for the surface finishes were particularly high: multiple sanding, filling and painting operations were necessary to make the ‘stage’ of the MDT dance theatre on the island of Skeppsholmen accessible to the public. kubix worked day and night shifts in order to complete the project by the agreed date.

The result was one of the highlights at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, as the article in the Wallpaper magazine shows.
