kubix was commissioned to design and produce fashion retailer Cecil’s shop windows, with the goal of rejuvenating their image and making greater use of stylised elements than before. We were attracted by the opportunity to develop a concept using recycling techniques for Cecil’s approximately 650 shop windows. For example, we opted for stable elements made of honeycomb board, which can be used over several display seasons and eventually can be turned into recycled paper.
