kubix built an exhibition and a pop-up store in the atrium of the KaDeWe in Berlin to celebrate the 80th birthday of Alvar Aalto’s classic Stool 60. Both exhibition and store were designed by Meiré and Meiré and the backdrop was a large image of the iconic installation of these stools in Aalto’s Vyborg (Viipuri) library in the 1930s.
