The Pied Piper of Hamelin – Kinetic Theatre at the Hamelin City Museum
At the Hamelin City Museum the story of the Pied Piper is told by small ‘acting robots’, moving ‘shirt-tracks’ and other special effects developed by kubix. Since there were no prefabricated components for the set and backdrop, almost all of the technical components had to be manufactured in our workshops. The successful collaboration with the audio-visual technicians of m.o.l.i.t.o.r. can still be felt when visiting the exhibition today: The result is a wonderfully analog interpretation of Grimm’s saga in the style of an early silent film.
